Opunabo Inko-Tariah, a former Special Adviser to Governor Nyesom Wike, has raised concerns about the unfortunate incident that claimed the life of Divisional Police Officer (DPO) SP Bako Angbashim in Ahoada
It would be recalled that the incident involved a reported shootout between policemen and a notorious cult group in Odeimude community, Rivers State
In an interview with Arise TV, Inko-Tariah expressed concern about the fate of the policemen who were with the DPO during the fatal encounter. He said,
“We are yet to hear about the policemen who abandoned their DPO and ran away.”
Inko-Tariah alleged that the Chief of Staff to Governor Fubara, Edison Ehie, implicated in the DPO’s death, is facing undue pressure due to his political fidelity to Fubara. He also questioned why the murder case of the DPO which was already before a High Court in Rivers State was transferred to a court in Abuja.
