The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Felix Morka, has defended the economic policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu; as he maintained that the President warned that the steps would come with some difficulties for the people.
Felix Morka had said
, “That is the fundamental business that this government is looking to address. You know, what are the policies Seun, why did the government even feel the need to intervene as it did, because the fundamentals were aching and aching badly, the distortions in the economy were severe, and threaten the very foundations of our economic life.
So, this government intervened, and when that happened, the President made it very clear that this would produce some difficulties for our people, and clearly, those difficulties are here with us.”
Morka, who spoke during an interview on Politics Today, a Channels Television programme, said the decisions that the President took had to be taken.
