A team of security operatives from the Nigerian Army has successfully neutralized a notorious wanted bandit known as Mai-Nasara at Sangeko forest in Kebbi State. In addition to this, the team also apprehended five other suspected bandits who are believed to be members of the same gang. This was reported by Ahmed Idris, the Chief Press Secretary to the Kebbi State Governor, in a statement released in Birnin Kebbi on Tuesday.
Abdulrahman Usman, the Director of Security at the Cabinet Office, Birnin Kebbi, was also quoted in the report as commending the efforts of the security personnel in fighting crimes and criminalities, particularly within the southern part of Kebbi. He implored people to provide the personnel with all the necessary support and cooperation to ensure their success in the fight against crime.
Mr. Usman also mentioned that security is everyone’s business and people should be willing to assist the security agencies in every way possible, especially by providing credible intelligence to aid in successful operations.
