A young Nigerian woman has cried out over alleged harassment by police officers in Imo State.
In a video online, she recounted that she and a friend were on their way to a Praise Night when policemen stopped them late at night.
She claimed the officers compelled them to enter a police vehicle, searched through their phones without explanation and later dropped her off on an unfamiliar road.
Her friend was allegedly taken away by the officers.
Visibly shaken, she described the ordeal as terrifying and said she believed only “God’s mercy” kept her safe.

The video has since generated widespread concern, with many Nigerians calling on the Imo Police Command to provide immediate clarification.
