Ekiti-born politician, Falegan Opeyemi David has taken to social media to express concern with regards to the worsened economic situation of Nigeria. He asked president Bola Ahmed Tinubu how he can purchase bags of rice and disburse to thousands of widows in his state with the hike in the price of rice in the West African country.
David Opeyemi Falegan who penned down such question through his official Instagram account, shared a picture of former Lagos State governor and APC chieftain, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The philanthropist went ahead to ask President Bola Ahmed Tinubu what is going on in the country, adding that 1 pound is now equivalent to 2 thousand Naira and a bag of rice is now 75 thousand Naira in the market.
David Opeyemi Falegan further asked president Bola Ahmed Tinubu;
“How do I buy bags of rice for thousands of widows in Ekiti State? How do I handle my empowerment this Easter? Moreover I am not the type that ask for help online.
“What is the hope of a common man now? What is going on Daddy @officialasiwajubat”
