Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command on Saturday discovered 20 live cartridges as well as various types of hard drugs inside the compartment of a tricycle popularly known as Keke occupied by two hoodlums, the command announced on its X handle on Saturday.
The command said police officers from the Iba Division, who were on patrol in the area, arrested the two occupants of the tricycle, whose names were given as Daniel Gaji, aged 28 years and Sunday Oluwaseyi, aged 27 years, after they carried out a search on the tricycle.

It was gathered from the command that when the policemen on patrol flagged down the tricycle and subjected it for a search, 20 live cartridges as well as substance suspected to be Indian hemp as well as other illicit drugs were said to have been found inside the compartment of the tricycle.
According to the police command, they are currently giving more useful information to the police operatives about their activities.
The command wrote: “Police officers of Iba Division arrested two occupants of a tricycle, one Daniel Gaji, aged 28 years and Sunday Oluwaseyi, aged 27 years, while on patrol after finding in the compartment of the tricycle 20 live cartridges, weed and other illicit drugs.”
