Pastor Clement Adebisi, the husband of one of the teachers at Apostolic Faith Group of Schools in Emure Ekiti who was kidnapped alongside pupils of the school has shared the harrowing experience his wife endured during the kidnapping
In an interview with Punch, Adebisi revealed that his wife, who was severely tortured, recounted the horrific incident of witnessing the driver’s killing beside her.
He said the kidnappers used machetes to inflict physical harm, leaving scars on her body. He also expressed gratitude that God intervened, ensuring the eventual release of his wife and the abducted schoolchildren.

My wife was tortured, how
can you use machetes to flog a woman? You can see scars all over her body – back, legs, arms, neck – she received heavy slaps. When she was there, whenever I had the opportunity to hear her voice, she would say, ‘Daddy, look for the money, don’t let them kill me,’ amidst serious weeping. I just took the courage that God would intervene”
