In the wake of the killing of a Lieutenant Colonel and six soldiers in Borno State, Finland-based Biafra agitator, Simon Ekpa, on Sunday, expressed worry over the rise in insecurity in Nigeria.
The death of the soldiers came exactly one week after the army laid to rest 17 military personnel killed in Okuama community of Delta State.
It was gathered that Boko Haram terrorists along Blu- Buni Yadi road, Borno State, ambushed the Lt. Col and his men, and killed them in a gun battle.
Speaking after the incident, Simon Ekpa noted that in recent times, there is a rise in insecurity all over Nigeria.
He vowed to liberate the people of the South- East from the menace.

Daily Trust reports say the Boko Haram insurgents ambushed the soldiers at Kamuya, a village close to Buratai, home town of former Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen Tukur Buratai (rtd).
A security source said the soldiers paid a supreme price on their way to Damaturu to buy fuel.
“It’s very sad; they were soldiers of 135 Special Force BN FOB in Buratal. They were ambushed on their way to Damaturu, Yobe state, to buy fuel.”
