The former senator who represented the good people of Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone, Senator Shehu Sani, has reacted after the Nigerian Breweries claimed that it lost the sum ₦106 million in the year 2023.
While reacting, Senator Shehu Sani made it known that with all the birthdays and wedding ceremonies going on across the country on a daily basis, yet the Nigerian Breweries made a loss of ₦106 billion in 2023.
Senator Shehu Sani made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle on Saturday afternoon, while reacting to the report.
He wrote:
“So,with all the Birthdays and wedding ceremonies going on in this Country everyday, yet Nigerian Breweries made a loss of N106 Billion in 2023?”
Recall that it was recently reported that the Nigerian Breweries PLC, recorded a net loss of ₦106 billion for the year ended 2023, as against 13.93 billion posted in its 2022 financial, indicating 860 percent loss.
According to report, Mr. Uaboi Agbebaku, Company Secretary, Nigerian Breweries stated this in the audited financial result of the company for the year ended 2023 sent to the Nigerian Exchange Ltd.
