Popular singer, Tiwa Savage has opened up on how she got British-Nigerian rapper Skepta to feature in her new single.
Savage spoke during an interview with the BBC Radio 1.
She revealed that she casually reached out to Skepta and was surprised by how quickly things clicked.
“So, ladies, I want to say that it does work sometimes when you slide into that dm. But I did slide into the dm and I was like, hey, big smoke. I didn’t really tell him up front what I wanted. Kind of was just like, I’m in London.
What you doing? He’s like, yo, I’m in the studio. I’m like, oh, cool. So I went over and played him the record, and he loved it. I particularly loved shooting the visuals for this. So if you haven’t seen it, make sure you check it out.” she narrated.
The track, titled “On The Low,” dropped on July 30, 2025, and has been receiving massive love from fans across Nigeria and the UK.
