Shehu Sani, the former senator who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District has called on those who care to hear to always make sure they know their health/heart status before watching football, especially the ones(sports) that may come with anxiety, etc.
Shehu gave this advice through the post he made on his X account (formerly known as Twitter) after reports have it that some persons died while watching the match between Nigeria’s Super Eagle and South Africa’s Bafana Bafana which lasted for more than 120 minutes and the winner had to emerged through penalty shout out.
His post reads, “Looking at the number of people who died while watching the Nigeria/South Africa match, it’s advisable that people should take consideration of the health status of their Hearts before watching football matches or any sporting event that comes with extreme anxiety, excitement or apprehension. This is just my personal advice and not a professional medical advice.”
