Judy, originally from Naivasha, Kenya, met her future husband there when she was a young single mother
Her spouse was an employee of the same company where she worked, and the two dated there for a while before deciding to live together
Immediately after her wedding, she became pregnant and after her child was born, he took her in with her parents while she returned to Naivasha
Nine months later, after finding her a job, her husband came to pick her up and they returned
She said she hired a housekeeper and is now back to work
However, her husband was not satisfied with her employment and often accused her of having sexual relations with her co-workers
He made her quit some of her jobs out of jealousy of her
She decided to become a housewife and she never looked back
Their relationship developed when she became pregnant again
Her spouse suddenly stopped sleeping with her after giving birth
She slept on the couch after he urged her to stop using the bed
He stopped caring for his family and instead stayed in a motel, where he ate and showered
Her relationship deteriorated and she often left her children to go to bed hungry
She got tired of sleeping on the couch so she had him moved to her marital bed
They never shared blankets because he didn’t want her to touch him
“It was like waking up in bed next to a complete stranger,” she said
She had trouble sleeping some nights because of her anxiety
Lying next to her husband, she woke up to the sound of her husband rubbing her genitals
As she lay there, her suspicions were evident
He had become accustomed to avoiding contact with her until late at night, indulging in masturbation
