The National Chairman of the Labour Party, LP, Julius Abure, has vowed to ensure that his party takes over power in Nigeria and provides quality leadership for the country. He made this statement while addressing journalists in Umuahia, Abia State, following a meeting with Governor Alex Otti and members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of LP.
Abure emphasized the need for good leadership in Nigeria, stating that the country’s major problem is bad leadership. He believes that once good leadership is in place, every other issue will be fixed. He also pointed out the irony of exporting crude oil only to import refined products at high costs.
Abure expressed concern about the current state of Nigeria, where the cost of living is high, and people struggle to make ends meet. He cited examples of how the prices of essential commodities like rice and yam have increased, making it difficult for people to afford them. He pointed out that security challenges, inflation, and unemployment are major issues that need to be addressed.
Abure promised that his party would provide quality leadership that prioritizes the welfare of the people and fights against poverty and hunger. He emphasized that his leadership would empathize with the people and work to liberate them.
