In a recent video on YouTube, Bishop Oyedepo shared insights from past trials during a recent address, cautioning listeners against hasty judgments and urging steadfastness in faith.
Recalling a time of adversity in Kaduna, Bishop Oyedepo recounted how they faced mockery and opposition, with some even deterring others from attending church gatherings.
According to him,
“We were subjects of mockeries in those days in Kaduna. We had bitter enemies among believers, they even stopped people from coming to Church. They stop people on the way, “Go back, he is the devil.” I don’t know where they are now. Be careful. What if you say it is not God and it is God? Where do you find yourself? Has anyone contended with God and prospered? Study to be quiet. Face your own business.”
Highlighting the transient nature of adversity, Bishop Oyedepo emphasized the importance of discernment and faithfulness in navigating challenges. He urged listeners to exercise caution in their judgments, reminding them of the consequences of misinterpreting God’s will.
