The Vice President Kashim Shettima at a meeting with govenors and service chiefs yestersay (Thursday) requested the Rivers Governor Fubara to greet his political godfather the current FCT minister, Nyesom Wike.
According to NAN, it was reported that President Tinubu summoned the meeting to address the economic hardship, and recent upsurge in insecurity, in different parts of the country.
Although the two political bigwigs in Rivers State (Fubara and Wike) has been in longerheads to each other.
The political feud between the political bigwigs had sparked reactions and speculations condeming the criss between the duo.
However, due to the level of the criss between the duo requested the president to interven which he did.
It can be recounted that President Bola Tinubu initiated a peace pact containing 8-point agreement which was signed between the FCT minister Nyesom Wike and his political godson Fubara. In spite the peace resolution deal brokered by Tinubu, there are indications that Wike and Fubara are engaged in a cold war.
Wike, who is the immediate past governor of Rivers, has been trying to hold unto the political structure in the state despite being a minister.
