The Super Eagles have arrived in Portugal for their international friendly games against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique. According to Babafemi Raji, the Media Officer of the Super Eagles, twenty players have already arrived at the camp, including Francis Uzoho, Tyronne Ebuehi, Bright Osayi-Samuel, and Wilfred Ndidi.
More players are expected to join the team, including Frank Onyeka and Kelechi Iheanacho, who had visa issues that have now been sorted out. Fisayo Dele-Bashiru had to reroute his ticket and is also expected to arrive shortly. Some of the players are still awaiting visas. The team will have a gym session at 10:30 a.m. and a training session at 5 p.m.
The Super Eagles will play Saudi Arabia on October 13 and Mozambique on October 16. These games are part of their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe next month.
