On Tuesday, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, visited the family of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as MohBad, to show empathy and support. He was accompanied by a delegation that included Mr. Tayo Ayinde, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlende, the Commissioner for Youth, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso, the Commissioner for Information, and Mr. Idris Aregbe, the Special Adviser on Tourism.

During his visit, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State expressed his condolences to the family of late musician MohBad, and assured them that the government is committed to seeking justice in his untimely death. He also promised to provide assistance in caring for the deceased’s son.
Dr. Hamzat stated, “We trust in God, but also rest assured that the government will do its part in this case.” MohBad passed away on September 12 and was buried the following day in the Ikorodu area of Lagos. His death has sparked an investigation by the police and other government agencies.
