Popular Nigerian vlogger, Sisi Yemmie has urged people to be vigilant and thoroughly review their receipts when they make purchases.
She shared a personal encounter alongside her advice.
She stated that she went to buy something at the supermarket, and the cashier inflated the digits. When she discovered this, the cashier apologized.
She wrote: “I went to the supermarket and the bill did not look like what I mentally calculated in my head, I queried it and discovered the cashier put 10k for bread instead of 2500… I insisted the bread was 2500, she said … “oh my mistake”…she started apologizing.
“Stay vigilant.”
