During an interview with Arise News, the Executive Director at Authority Newspapper, Chuks Akunna, has stated that some people who are exasparating are the ones that brought President Tinubu into power, thinking that the President will do their bidding, but now that the President is not doing their expectations they are disapprobating.
The Executive Director also reflected the articulation made by the Minister for State Defence, Bello Matawalle,
issued warning to the Katsina elders to stop blackmailing President Bola Ahmed. He also emphasized that they are now complaining that President Bola Tinubu is not doing what they expectating, and that they are crying the loudest.
Chuks Akunna had said,
“Some people are not happy about — sadly that’s the people who brought this government to power; apparently they thought that Tinubu was going to do their bidding, now that Tinubu is not doing their bidding, they are very very upset with him.
Look at what Matawalle said about Katsina elders, don’t blackmail Tinubu, you understand, because they brought Tinubu in; the same people who brought Tinubu in are the ones shouting — crying the loudest.”
