The immediate past Governor of Rivers State and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has said that Nigerians can be sure that the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would renew the hope of Nigerians; as he noted that the steps that have been taken show that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Nyesom Wike had said,
“When some people talk about renewed hope, I ask, do they understand the meaning of renewed hope agenda? So many Nigerians have lost hope, so many Nigerians have lost hope about government, so, this administration is saying look, you don’t need to lose hope, I am bringing back that hope for you.
And how is it bringing back that hope, we must have to touch the rural areas, because those are the people who felt abandoned, who felt they are not going to get anything from the government; and so Mr. President said, no, you don’t need to lose hope, I am here, I am going to give you back your hope,
I’m going to give you back your infrastructure.”
Wike, who spoke during the flag-off of construction of Yangoji-Sukuku-Ebo road in Kwali area of the FCT, said things would begin to turn around for good.
