Nigerian singer, Skales has reacted after his 2014 hit track, ”Shake Body” experiences a resurgence in popularity.
The track has gone viral after Spanish football, stars Lamine Yamal and Gerard Piqué were seen dancing to it, bringing the song back into the global spotlight.
A Twitter user humorously remarked about the song’s new success, saying:
“@youngskales the soap wey you baff for this song that year nah now e dey work o🤣..”
Skales responded with a reply, attributing the song’s ongoing success to his prayers rather than superstition.
He wrote:
“Haha this one no be soap … the prayer wey I dey pray everyday to God … him don answer and e don dey manifest … God is real.”
Originally released in 2014, Shake Body became a massive hit and remains a fan favourite.
