The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris Malagi, has urged Nigerians to be patient with the reforms of President Bola Tinubu.
Malagi stated that President Tinubu is just seven months old in office, and the dividends of the long-term plan cannot be known in a short time.
Recall that during his inauguration address on May 29, 2023, President Tinubu announced,
“…fuel subsidy is gone,”
adding that subsidy can no longer justify the ever-increasing cost of Petroleum Motor Spirit, PMS, and that the funds will be rechanneled into better investment in public infrastructure, education, health care, and jobs.
Speaking during an appearance on Channels TV Sunrise Daily on Thursday,
Malagi stated that the president’s vision is clear: to take Nigeria to ‘the desired prosperity.’
