A fiery Enugu priest, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has challenged President Bola Tinubu to address the insecurity and hardship facing Nigeria, saying that the citizens are heartbroken and God is watching him.
According to Daily Post, Mbaka, who delivered a homily at his Adoration Ministry in Emene, Enugu State, on Sunday, said that Tinubu had many obstacles on his way to becoming president, including the Naira redesign policy, but he succeeded by an act of providence.
However, he said that the president had not shown enough political will to tackle the problems of the country, especially the corruption in the oil sector, which he said was controlled by a cabal that Tinubu was afraid to confront.
He urged the president to wake up and fix Nigeria, saying that it was not difficult if the leader had the willpower.
He said that the cabal could be de-canibalized and sent to jail, as they did not support Tinubu in the first place.
He also said that the hearts of the people were broken by the poor state of education, health, security, and economy in the country.
He lamented the plight of the teachers, doctors, retirees, policemen, soldiers, and farmers, who he said were suffering from neglect, violence, and hunger.
He warned that the situation would get worse if the insecurity was not dealt with, as it would affect food production and political stability.
He said that everyone should be meaningfully engaged and start something, as hunger had not even started.
He advised Tinubu to submit himself to God and use his wealth and power to serve the people, saying that God had blessed him for a purpose.
