Nollywood veteran actress, Mercy Aigbe has taken to social media to lament about the worsened economic situation of Nigeria. She called on Nigerian businessman, Seyi Tinubu to plead with his father and Nigerian president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu on behalf of Nigerians with regards to providing solutions to the increased level of poverty.
Mercy Aigbe who made such statement through her official Instagram account, shared a video showing the moment a huge crowd of people were rushing to collect food items that were being distributed to them.

And so the Yoruba actress in reaction to such video, went ahead to state that;
“People are hungry! People are dying! People are going out of their minds! The present situation of the country is terrible! The government should please, please we are begging, they should do something about this economic hardship! It’s unbearable @officialasiwajubat.
“@seyitinubu please beg your father for us!”
