Reality TV personality and two-time Big Brother Naija star, Doyin David has stated that none of her mother’s friends will be attending her wedding.
She made this known in a post on her Snapchat after initially expressing how small and simple she would want her wedding to be.
According to the reality TV star, she would rather do an intimate destination wedding with 50 guests and invest in her honeymoon.
However, in response to a social media user who was of the opinion that African mothers would want a wedding that will be the talk of the town, Doyin explained that her mother is different.
She further stated that there won’t be any matching outfits for people to wear on her wedding day.
“It cannot be my mum o. She already knows none of her friends will be attending my wedding or buying aso ebi because there won’t be any aso ebi worn at my wedding,” Doyin said.
