The former Governor of Sokoto State and Senator representing Sokoto South Senatorial District, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, says Nigeria is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) seeking urgent resuscitation.
Speaking at his Sokoto residence on Saturday, he said it was a collective duty to save the life of the country. Asked about the state of the nation, Tambuwal said, “I have been on sabbatical not to talk to the press. I deliberately chose to remain silent for nine months on the state of the Nigerian nation.
He said,
“My quiet mood is my state of mind. I simply chose not to speak. When you are involved in something and the unexpected happens, you remain quiet. I have been introspective. “But on the state of the nation go and ask the people on the street. You don’t have to go far to ask yourself about the state of the nation.
