In a heart-wrenching revelation, a middle-aged man has confessed to marrying solely to please his parents but now finds himself trapped in an abusive relationship. The man, who chose to remain anonymous, poured out his anguish on the X network, formerly known as Twitter, seeking advice on his dire situation.

He admitted to entering the marriage five years ago to fulfill his parents’ wishes but has been enduring the agony of daily physical abuse inflicted by his wife. “I have been in this marriage for 5 years now, but I am not happy. I am still in this marriage because of my parents,” he lamented, his voice filled with despair.

Although he acknowledged his long-standing desire for divorce, the process has proven to be a daunting challenge. His wife presents a façade of kindness to his family, but behind closed doors, she treats him as a slave, subjecting him to beatings, slaps, lashes, and kicks. “My wife appears to be a perfect person to my family, but at home, she beats me every day. I feel ashamed to disclose the other things she does to me,” he revealed.

Adding to his dilemma, he mentioned his wife’s exceptional skills in the bedroom, making it even harder for him to leave. “I’ve wanted to divorce her, but she is very skilled in bed. I feel like I am slowly dying in my own home,” he concluded, seeking help from online communities.

Responses to his post varied, with some expressing sympathy while others urged him to make a choice between enduring the abuse and valuing his mental and physical well-being. They advised him to either continue enduring the abuse for the sake of his wife’s sexual prowess or prioritize his mental health by ending the toxic marriage and embarking on a new journey of hope.
