Grace has revealed how her husband tried to cover her up before he breathed his last while in hospital. This was after a misunderstanding developed and ended up Stabbing her husband in self-defense.
The two who hail from Kiambu County narrated how she got into a relationship with her late husband immediately after completing primary school level. Despite her performing very well and receiving an admission letter from a provincial school she ended up getting married due to lack of school fees.
After delivering her firstborn, her husband started developing weird behaviors which made her walk out where she rented a house a few meters from her husband’s house. Her husband would apologize and get together but she continued living in her house.
One year later she fell pregnant with him. Her husband asked her to pack everything and go back to his house but she was not ready to live with him. One day he went into her house while drunk and asked her to go back to his house or one of them would die while the other would end up in prison.
They started fighting, her husband grabbed a knife and stabbed her in the back. She managed to overpower him and took the knife from him. She stabbed him in the leg. He lost a lot of blood which made her ask a carb driver to rush him to the nearest hospital.
When he was asked what happened, he tried to cover up his wife by telling the doctors that they were attacked by thugs. Grace however told them that she was the one who stabbed him. She was arrested and jailed for seven years. She gave birth to her secondborn while in jail.
