Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool’s injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.
Liverpool can surge to the summit of the Premier League table – for at least a couple of hours – when they meet Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park at Saturday lunchtime.
The Reds made it three wins on the bounce in all tournaments with a 2-0 beating of Sheffield United on Wednesday, where Virgil van Dijk and Dominik Szoboszlai came up with the decisive moments.
Jurgen Klopp’s crop remain just two points worse off than Arsenal following the midweek round of matches, and with the Gunners not in action until 3pm on Saturday, victory for Liverpool versus Palace would allow them to sit pretty in first place for a short while.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool’s latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with the Eagles, who were bested 2-0 by Bournemouth on Wednesday evening.
