Arsenal loanee Albert Sambi Lokonga has been in fine form of recent at Luton Town, and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp cannot believe that the Gunners decided to loan him out.
The Belgian impressed for the Hatters in their 2-1 loss to Manchester United on Sunday, with Gary Neville praising him.
The Sky Sports pundit claimed that Lokonga was outstanding during the game as he tracked back and relentlessly followed Bruno Fernandes all around.
The Arsenal man also made a stunning and brilliant block and has been a revelation in recent weeks, and Klopp knows Liverpool will have to deal with him when they face Luton on Wednesday.
“We experienced a tough game there and now in possession they found a structure where everyone is comfortable,” the German said in his press conference today.
“Ross Barkley is a nice story where he is back to his best, or better. A deeper role, disciplined and extremely strong.
“Lokonga when you see him playing and you think, oh – he’s an Arsenal player and he is on loan? Interesting.”
The 24-year-old has featured in 13 games across all competitions for Luton since joining them on a season-long loan last September, and Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta would have been impressed with his performances so far.
