The camp of Atiku Abubakar, who is the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2023 election, has responded to the press conference held on Monday by Peter Obi, the candidate of the Labour Party (LP).
Daniel Bwala, who is Atiku’s spokesperson for the 2023 election, shared his thoughts on Obi’s remarks via social media. He stated that Atiku and his running mate, Datti Baba Ahmed, along with their supporters, would be a tough obstacle for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to overcome. Bwala acknowledged that Ahmed had accepted the Supreme Court’s ruling that upheld Tinubu’s victory.
However, he believes that Obi and his team still disagree with the decision. Bwala also mentioned that the Labour Party and its supporters would pose a significant challenge to Tinubu’s presidency. He added that how Tinubu manages this situation would be a case study for university students.
He said, “But @PeterObi and @Naija_Activist Obi/Datti’s position today convinced me that @officialABAT Tinubu has more problems to manage with Labour Party and Obidients than the entire economy and insecurity in Nigeria. How he will navigate this is a course to be taught in OAU, ABU and Nsukka universities.”
