Former Special Adviser to the Rivers State Government, Opunabo Inko-Tariah, has stated that the Governor of Rivers State,
Sim Fubara, will be making a very big mistake if he agree with Bola Tinubu’s eight points resolution and re-present the budget of Rivers State to the state house of assembly.
Opunabo Inko-Tariah made this disclosure during an interview with some journalists on Arise Television. During the interview, Opunabo Inko-Tariah said,
“why do you want to re-present that budget? The question will arise after your re-presentation. On what authority did you spend the money you have spent?”
“This will lay the grounds for impeachment and removal because you need the approval of the house of assembly and by re-presenting that budget,
you have also admitted that the Martin Amaewhule was the right speaker irrespective of the court judgement and that was why you re-presented that budget to him.
Then, all this while you have been spending the money, on whose authority have you been spending the money? In that case, it is an impeachable offense and you cannot defend it.”
