n a video posted by Sahara TV, Omoyele Sowore, a human rights activist, made some disclosures regarding his arrest in 2019.
Recall that the publisher of Sahara Reporters, Sowore, was arrested by the Department of State Services on August 5, 2019, following alleged protest plans.
Meanwhile, Sowore was arraigned on several occasions by the DSS, but on February 15, 2024, the federal government put an end to the suit, thereby closing the case file.
However, Sowore cited the fact that he had said in advance that he and other members of the “Revolution Now” protest group could not be prosecuted.
