Vanguard reports that American reality TV personality Angela Deem, known for her appearance on “90 Day Fiance,” has issued a serious threat to file for divorce and terminate her marriage with her Nigerian husband, Michael Ilesanmi.
Angela expressed her unwillingness to reconcile with Michael after he abruptly left, citing concerns for his safety. She asserted that she did not initiate the process for her husband’s green card and claimed to have three lawyers ready to address the situation. Michael’s departure occurred without informing Angela, leading her to declare him missing on her Instagram account. Notably, this incident unfolded merely two months after Michael’s relocation to the United States.
In response to Michael’s disappearance, he informed the police that he had left home out of fear for his life, contradicting Angela’s claim of him being missing. However, recent updates on the official “90 Day Fiance” Facebook account revealed that the couple’s marriage has become increasingly tumultuous.
Angela, speaking about her contemplation of filing for divorce, disclosed that she had initially entered into discussions about ending their marriage during a previous appearance on “The Last Resort” with divorce papers in hand. Despite Michael’s past infidelity, they managed to reconcile. However, this time, Angela expressed an adamant stance, asserting that she cannot forgive him for intentionally hiding from her due to safety concerns.
Expressing her frustration, Angela questioned Michael’s decision to come to the United States if he genuinely feared for his life. She emphasized her love for him but declared her intention to file for divorce, leaving no room for reconciliation.
Furthermore, Angela accused Michael of using her solely for obtaining a green card, suggesting that his actions were premeditated. She claimed that Michael had pressured her since his arrival in the U.S. to obtain his license and green card. Angela expressed disbelief at his plans to pursue a legal visa and warned that she wouldn’t allow him to simply obtain a green card without consequences.
Angela addressed Nigerians who had supported Michael, urging them to provide him legal representation, as her own lawyers were prepared for a significant legal battle. In her eyes, Michael’s motives were centered around acquiring documentation, and she vowed not to let him become “untouchable” in her country after obtaining his green card.
