Abubakar Dogara, the chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) in Plateau State, has shared his perspective on the recent decision to exclude the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) from the upcoming gubernatorial election in the state.
According to a report by TVC News, just days before the gubernatorial polls, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) made the decision to omit the PDP from the list of political parties eligible to participate in the elections scheduled for February 3.
In response to this development, Dogara asserted that if the PDP is not allowed to participate, then no political party should be granted permission to contest the election.
In a video posted by TVC News, Abubakar Dogara said, “If the PDP is not participating, then no political party will participate in the forthcoming election on Saturday, February 3, 2024”.
