Arsenal resume Premier League action on Saturday after the October international break with a trip to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea.
The Gunners headed into the break with a 1-0 win over Manchester City, moving to the top of the league table alongside Tottenham Hotspur as a result.
They will be keen to continue from where they stopped when they take on the Blues, but Gary Neville thinks both London clubs will have to settle for a share of the spoils, predicting a 1-1 scoreline in the Super 6 predictor.
However, Ian Wright sees his old club securing all three points given their recent history at Stamford Bridge.
He initially predicted a 3-1 scoreline before quickly changing his mind after Jamie Carragher questioned the prediction.
Neville: “1-1.”
Wright: “1-1?”
Neville: “After the international break.”
Wright: “I think we are beating them. We always kind of cause Chelsea problems at Stamford Bridge. I’m going to go with 3-1.”
Carragher: “3-1?”
Wright: “2-1 Arsenal. ”
Carragher: “Got into his head.”
Chelsea have struggled so far this term and will be desperate to secure a win against Arsenal.
They have won three out of eight league games this season but headed into the break on the back of three victories across all competitions and are in high spirits.
However, it remains to be seen whether manager Mauricio Pochettino and his men have what it takes to inflict Arsenal with their first league defeat of 2023-24.
The Gunners have won six and drawn their other two league games so far, and they know anything apart from a win against Chelsea will not do their title ambitions plenty of good.
