The last conversation between the late officer who died on his way to Haiti and his father emerged eliciting mixed reactions.
According to the source, the officer told his father that he won’t be coming back home soon because the date to the US trip was fast approaching. Mid last week he received a phone call from his son notifying him about the imminent trip to Washington DC. The father asked the police officer to travel to Nairobi to bid him goodbye but Nyamato turned down the request citing that he was in a hurry and there was little time left to prepare for the trip.
Sources revealed that the late police officer’s friend were the first people to discover his death after he failed to wake up. A relative claimed that he learnt about Nyamato’s death through the deceased close friend. The father also confirmed the sad news through his son’s friend. The body is currently at the hospital morgue pending an autopsy test to determine what really transpired. The family is also planning to expatriate his body for burial.
