Popular Nigerian Singer and Songwriter, Inetimi Alfred Timaya known professionally as Timaya recently had an interview on Beat FM and he opened up about a lot of things including his struggles with drugs.
During the Interview, Timaya revealed that he’s not a saint and that he once did drugs. He further stressed that he was so addicted to it that he had to take 3 pills everyday and that it felt like a medication.

“I’m not a saint, I have done drugs, not this typical marijuana stuff and breaking out from it was hell for me.
It was covid 2020, everybody was home and then I went to see some guys, when I got to their house, everybody was happy and I was like ‘yo, how are you guys so happier than me, I’m the boss I gat money’.
I was looking at them and then I asked them what they were on and they told me it’s molly”.
“When I took it, I didn’t understand myself, I was happy that I even gave out all the money in my pocket. So I wanted to keep feeling like that and that’s how I lost a lot of weight, I was not eating, I was just happy.
You are supposed to be happy first of all naturally as a person, that’s supposed to come first but when you need like a substance to make you happy, it replace your original self.
.When I was taking Molly, I was taking like three pills everyday and it feels like a medication but it was messing me up”, Timaya said and it stirred massive reactions from the general public.
