According to a report published by Punch Newspaper hours ago, an esteemed Yoruba actor, Olaiya Igwe has pleased with Nigerians to forgive him for for going naked at a beach the not just pray but campaign for Bola Tinubu’s victory during the 2023 presidential election.
The actor disclosed this in a video posted on his official Instagram handle on Monday. According to him, everything he did wasn’t his will but a revelation he got regarding the president.
speaking further, the actor noted that the reason he supported the president during his campaign is because of the huge sacrifice and role he played in his health.
In his words, Olaiya said “Because of things he has done for me, health wise and I received a revelation to stand naked to pray for him at the beach which I did”.
“I was criticized and cursed after I did that, but I didn’t care. I wasn’t annoyed with President Bola Tinubu and neither did I react negativity to him. I knew the criticism was inevitable because I am a much loved actor.
“People who didn’t expect my actions must have been shocked, wondering why I did what I did. I know the criticism would have come from Bola Tinubu’s rival” he said.
