While being interviewed, the suspect said, “I was living with my parents before in Okeodo before I moved to Ibadan. I thought of killing my father because I was suffering. I used a knife and rope to murder him. I made fifty thousand naira (N50k) after using him for the money ritual but now I regret killing him.”
Narrating further, the suspect said, “it was one traditionalist that asked me to bring his private organs if I want to get rich. When I gave the herbalist my father’s private organs I harvested after murdering him, he gave me a black soap and asked that I should bath with it every
midnight.”
Lastly, the suspect said, “after I starting bathing with the black soap, I dreamt I saw money but I could not decipher where the money was. Now that I have been arrested, my advice to youths is that they should wait for their time because if God destines them to be rich, nothing will stop it. I killed my father but didn’t become rich after it. The only money I made after it was around fifty to one hundred thousand naira.”
