Investigative journalist David Hundeyin conducted a probe to determine if President Bola Tinubu is a Certified Public Accountant. However, the investigation yielded negative results.
Hundeyin’s inquiry was spurred by an old affidavit document in which President Tinubu swore at the Lagos High Court that he is a Certified Public Accountant.
Myriad of commenters has jumped on this, as they call out the President for allegedly lying under oath.
Also, the affidavit says Tinubu has a degree in Economics from Chicago University and a degree in Business Administration from Chicago State University.
This has left many Nigerians questioning the President’s integrity as controversies surrounding his academic records continue.
Just last week, the Chicago State University where President Tinubu said he graduated from disowned his certificate.
Meanwhile, in another story, aviation minister, Festus Keyamo described the forgery allegations against President Bola Tinubu as noisemaking, noting that unless the vendor that issued the replacement degree certificate to the President denies its authenticity, Atiku Abubakar’s appeal at the Supreme Court is useless.
