We frequently stress over what to eat and when, but most of the time we forget about the importance of choosing the correct food pairing. We all love to pair milk with our favourite fruits, biscuits, and occasionally even meals—milk is referred to as a whole food.
However, according to Ayurveda, if milk is consumed in the incorrect combinations, it can be disastrous
Bananas
The popular banana milkshake is not good for the body, according to Ayurveda. Bananas and milk together may aggravate digestion and increase the body’s production of toxins.
Beans
Consuming beans with foods like milk can cause the digestive system to become overloaded because they are dense, heavy food that takes longer to digest.
Egg
According to Ayurveda, eating milk and eggs at the same time can affect digestion and result in diarrhoea, bloating, and discomfort.
Sour fruit
Avoid combining foods like oranges, lemons, limes, grapefruits, tamarind, and amla with milk as this can lead to digestive issues and confuse our cells’ intelligence, which can result in a number of diseases.
Yoghurt
It is not recommended to mix yoghurt with milk, as yoghurt is the only “fermented” food that Ayurveda considers sattvic

Fish
Combining milk and fish—both of which are proteins—can make the body produce Aama or partially digested food particles.
Radish
Ayurveda believes that radish and milk are an incompatible combination because they can cause gas and discomfort in the digestive tract.
