Leandro Trossard thought he had put the North London club ahead in the 42nd minute, only for VAR to rule it out.
Arsenal continued to labour all game and finally cracked the code in the closing stages, with the Germany international grabbing his second goal since joining the club from Chelsea in the summer.
Gary Neville appears to have been impressed with how Mikel Arteta’s fought for the win, and he took to social media platform X after the game to react and also answer a fan who claimed they would not win the Premier League title.
