Gary Lineker has sung the praise of Arsenal attacking midfielder Bukayo Saka after reports of his charity work in Nigeria was shared by the official Premier League account on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter).
His support of children’s medical charity Big Shoe has helped fund 120 life-changing operations in the Northern Nigerian state of Kano, and one of doctors in charge sent him a letter of appreciation.
The Premier League posted an emotional video highlighting the massive charity work being sponsored by the Arsenal star, and Lineker was left impressed, reacting on X thus:
Saka represents his country of birth at international level, but he never hesitates to remind everyone how much he loves his country of origin.
