Gabriel Suswam, a former Benue State Governor, has formally defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Suswam joined the APC on Wednesday barely 24 hours after he resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
He marked his first activity as an APC member by registering at his Mbagber Council Ward, located in Logo Local Government Area, Benue State.
Earlier, Tori News reported that Suswam quit the PDP on Wednesday.
The former governor cited the unending internal crisis rocking the opposition party as the reason for his resignation.
