Manchester City midfielder, Kevin De Bruyne has finally broken his silence following rumours that he wrote songs for singer, Drake.
It happened that a name that looks like his own was given credit on Drake’s new song, ‘Wick Man.’
The name “K. De Bruyne” was credited as one of the co-writers of ‘Wick Man’ off Drake’s latest project, ‘Scary Hours 3.’
Reacting via his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Friday, the Belgium captain joked by sharing a photo of himself and Drake, and a screenshot of the song credit with the caption; ” @Drake needed an assist.”
In a follow-up post, De Bruyne clarified that he wasn’t the one credited on the song, adding that he is, however, a “huge fan” of Drake.
He wrote, “All jokes aside, it’s not me! Huge fan though!”
