A serving corps member has sparked reactions after he made a tweet expressing displeasure over the economic hardship he has to endure while receiving an allowance less than the new minimum wage.
As conversations about corps members’ allowances are being held across social media platforms, one X user took to the microblogging platform to share his experience.
He wrote: “As a corpse, I watched crate of eggs increase from about 4k to over 6500 in less than a year bruh. 1 crate barely lasts me a month btw.”
The tweet went viral as X users questioned how the man graduated from university, yet didn’t know the difference between “corps” and “corpse”.
