Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has named his starting line-up for today’s Premier League clash against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
The Gunners were in fantastic form before the international break with eight straight league wins, but they face a huge challenge against City.
They have won in just one of the previous 15 trips to the Etihad and today’s game presents a big test of their title credentials for the season.
Ahead of the encounter, Arteta has made a solitary change from the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 tie against Porto.
Gabriel Jesus has got the nod ahead of Leandro Trossard on the left wing. This is something we had predicted, given the former’s familiarity with the opposition.
The rest of the team stays the same from the Porto victory. Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Magalhaes have recovered from their respective injuries to make the line-up.
Confirmed Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Man City: Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Kiwior; Jorginho, Rice; Saka, Odegaard, Jesus; Havertz.
Meanwhile, there is further good news on the bench with Gabriel Martinelli having recovered from a cut on his left leg to make the matchday squad for the game.
