Daniel Bwala, an ally of Atiku Abubakar, a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the upcoming 2023 elections, recently had a private meeting with President Bola Tinubu. After the meeting, Bwala addressed journalists and expressed his commitment to support the administration of President Tinubu.
He even stated that he is willing to defect to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) if that’s what it takes to support Tinubu. “APC is a party. President Bola Tinubu is my motivation; if supporting him will take me to APC, so be it,” he said. Bwala also made it clear that he has no apologies to anybody for his decision to support Tinubu and the APC.
