The President of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Comrade Joe Ajaero, has reportedly been arrested by the Police at the ongoing protest in Imo state.
This is following the smashing of vehicles and inflicting wounds on labor members by hoodlums.
Reports have it that the union leader was whisked away by heavily armed security personnel.
As of press time, the whereabouts of the NLC President are unknown.
